2008/5/19 中国，挺住！～俄罗斯－－铁哥们儿～ 汶川地震让半个亚洲震动，让整个世界震惊。中国经历的磨难太多，但从没在磨难中倒下。面临灾难，中国展现出坚韧与顽强；珍视生命，中国赢得了全世界的敬意和赞扬。 在这个生死交织、人神共泣的时刻，我们愿共同分担这份痛楚，愿共同祈祷生命的希望。 中国不需要同情，中国需要理解；中国不需要安慰，中国需要支持。我们愿以杯水之力，尽寸尺之能，和中国人民站在一起。我们知道，一个总理在两小时内就飞赴灾区的国家，一个能够出动十万救援人员的国家，一个企业和私人捐款达到数十亿的国家，一个因争相献血、自愿抢救伤员而造成交通堵塞的国家，永远不会被打垮。 希望必将与中国同在。 让我们为生者祝福，为死者祈祷。中国，走好。 2008/5/9 致西方的诗！－－转载The poem is said to have been written by Professor Emeritus of Physics

I wonder was it written in Chinese and then translated, perhaps not. It is filled with a deep resentment, rooted in history and the bitterness coming from experience of injustice and hypocrisy (something for which the Koreans coin the word "han"), but needing to be overcome or else it just becomes another kind of self-righteousness and "my country right or wrong..."! > When we were the Sick Man of Asia, We were called The Yellow Peril.
